American Manganese Inc.: announced the reverse circulation drill program has commenced on their Manganese project located in Mohave County, Arizona. The first hole has encountered the manganese zone from 66.3 metres (224 ft) to 85.9 metres (285 ft) for a total intercept of 18.6 metres (61 ft). The final depth was 100.6 metres (330 ft). The drill has completed drill hole #AP10-2. The zone was encountered at 63.8 metres (209 ft) and was in the manganese mineralization until 79.6 metres (261 feet) for an intersection of 15.9 metres (52 feet).
Another drill hole is drilling ahead at six metres (20 feet) in overburden. A second drill is scheduled to arrive on the property within two weeks. The current drill program will consist of 191 drill holes and will improve as well as expand the existing NI-43-101 resource which was previously reported as Indicated: 1,068,307,976 lbs. and Inferred: 9,661,091,721 lbs.

First Gold Exploration Inc.: announced that it has intersected a series of gold-bearing structures in one of the holes drilled this winter on the Matchi-Manitou property, near the Croinor mine, east of Val-d'Or in the Abitibi region. The drilling program was designed to test two InfiniTEM anomalies identified in the northern part of the Matchi-Manitou property. The first two holes tested the more northern anomaly, and three other holes were drilled on a stronger anomaly located about 1 km to the south. The InfiniTEM anomaly was explained by the presence of a massive pyrite horizon in the two holes farthest east. This massive sulphide horizon did not contain any base or precious metals. Mineralization ranged up 2.21 grams per ton gold.
