4:02 PM EST - : TAD Capital Corp.: announced that the 2009 program on the north zone of the Hazelton Prospect has been completed. Work consisting of geological, geochemical, and geophysical surveys has resulted in several new high-grade gold discoveries and increased the area of known gold mineralization on the property to 1,400 by 800 metres. The program focused on evaluating the extent of mineralization near the margins of a granitic stock. Numerous gold-bearing veins are present in three areas situated along the perimeter of a Cretaceous stock, which measures 600m in diameter. Indications are that the stock is part of a larger intrusive body mapped digitally by the Geological Survey of Canada in 2008.

4:00 PM EST - : Yale Resources Ltd.: announced results from the ongoing work program at the 100% owned Orofino Project. Within the La Perla pit Yale sampling returned 18.5 metres with a weighted average of 2.02 g/t gold and 31.2 g/t silver. Detailed mapping indicates that the shallow La Perla pit is located at the intersection of a vertical and a shallowly dipping mineralized structure. These parallel structures each have been traced over several hundred metres of strike length. Approximately 200 metres northeast of the La Perla pit within the central portion of the La Perlita targets a hand dug trench uncovered 17 metres with a weighted average of 1.20 g/t gold and 10.8 g/t silver from a second set of parallel veins.

11:17 AM EST - : Enablence Technologies Inc.: announced that it has recently won two new contracts in the United States, for a total value of $1.4 million. Under the terms of these purchase orders, Enablence has agreed to supply two independent telephone companies (telcos), one based in the southeast U.S. and another in the northern states with its award-winning Multi Media Aggregation Node (MAGNM) equipment for FTTH overbuild. The deployments in these two areas will be implemented using Enablence's MAGNM-20 Chassis platform and one deployment with the indoor version of Enablence's E-1320 Optical Network Terminal (ONT).

11:15 AM EST - : Air Canada: reported that its third-quarter net income was $277 million or $2.44 per share, compared to a loss of $132 million or $1.32 per share in the same quarter last year. The latest quarter results included a gain on foreign exchange of $295 million. The prior-year quarter results included losses on foreign exchange of $87 million. On an adjusted basis, the airline reported a loss per share in the third quarter of 2009 of $0.19. Earnings per share are adjusted to remove Air Canada's gains on foreign exchange of $295 million and a gain on assets of $1 million in the third quarter of 2009. Financial Operating revenues for the quarter were $2.67 billion, compared to $3.08 billion in the prior-year quarter.

4:04 PM EST - : United Reef Limited: announced that it has entered into a definitive option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in five mining claims, consisting of 11 claim units which cover approximately 176 hectares (435 acres) (the "Santa Maria Claims") in the Kenora Mining Division, northwestern Ontario. The Santa Maria Claims are presently owned by Robert J. Fairservice and are located approximately 45 kilometres southeast of Dryden, Ontario.

4:02 PM EST - : Goldcliff Resource Corporation: reported that the Bonanza Trench high-grade gold mineralization horizon continues to depth with an intercept of 12.45 grams per tonne gold over 0.84 metres. This intercept occurs within a horizon of 10.52 metres grading 1.75 grams per tonne gold. The Bonanza Trench horizon is located in the York-Viking zone on the Panorama Ridge gold property in the Hedley gold district, Hedley, British Columbia

11:32 AM EST - : Gold Canyon Resources Inc.: announced an update of its comprehensive review of its 100% owned Springpole Gold Project located in the Red Lake Mining District of Ontario, Canada. An eight-week field program in which numerous drill cores were re-logged, and in many cases re-sampled, was completed on September 30. Preliminary results of this review program include, confirmation that gold mineralization is associated with an alkaline igneous complex consisting of shallowly emplaced intrusions and associated diatreme breccias. This makes Springpole unique among deposits of the Canadian Shield which are commonly formed through metamorphic processes at deeper levels in the crust. Springpole has more in common with other alkaline gold deposits such as Cripple Creek, Colorado than it does with nearby neighbours such as deposits at Red Lake, Ontario.

11:27 AM EST - : Klondike Silver Corp.: announced results from an earlier drill program and reevaluation of the Corkill-Lawson silver project. The property is located approximately 15 kilometers southeast of the town of Gowganda, Ontario. Drill hole HCL0701, which intersected 2,393 g/t silver, 0.31% Cobalt, 0.46% copper and 0.17% nickel over 0.41 meters from 99.97 to 100.38 meters, will be the primary focus of the upcoming program. The Gowganda area was the second largest silver producer in Ontario after the Cobalt area, having produced 60,186,782 oz silver up until 1969
