5:13 PM EST - : Northern Vertex Mining Corp. : announced results from core holes 18 through 23 as part of its Phase II, 20,000 foot (6500 metres) infill drill and resource expansion program to test the western extension of the Moss Gold-Silver Project's stockwork vein system in Mohave County, Northwestern Arizona. These latest reports featured hits of 17 metres at 1.03 g/t gold equivalent and 15 metres of 1.04 g/t gold equivalent.

5:12 PM EST - : El Tigre Silver Corp. : provided a progress report along with the first assays from the ongoing Gold Hill core drilling program at its 100% owned El Tigre silver project in Sonora, Mexico. The core drilling program commenced on March 20, 2012 with 8 holes now completed for 1702 meters. Exploration highlights today included an intercept of 1 meter grading 1611 g/t silver with high grade gold (9.73 g/t) in the El Tigre vein. These values are similar to historic production grade and width and occur in an area where no mining was conducted.

11:34 AM EST - : Uranium North Resource Corp. : announced that it has identified significant amounts of graphite on its 100% owned Amer Lake Property in Nunavut. Multiple graphite bearing beds ranging from 15 to 25 metres thick have yielded up to 4.13% graphite. Six test samples were randomly selected from two reverse circulation drill holes 3.1 kilometres apart and submitted for analysis to determine the graphitic carbon (Cg) content. Five of the six samples yielded more than 3 percent graphite.

11:33 AM EST - : Metanor Resources Inc. : provided a new update of its exploration work at the Bachelor project. Metanor continues underground drilling of the "Main" and "B", veins from the level 15 of the Bachelor Lake mine. To date, 20 holes totaling 6,370 meters of drilling were completed. Highlights from today’s update included cuts of 26.36 g/t gold over 4.08 meters, 17.24 g/t gold over 5.64 meters and 16.81 g/t gold over 5.73 meters.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2012, net income attributable to shareholders amounted to $6,347,000 or $0.01 per common share, against a net loss of $27,055,000 or $0.06 per common share in the previous quarter and a net loss of $6,131,000 or $0.01 per common share in the corresponding quarter of 2011. The 2012 results include a gain of $14,283,000 on disposal of property, plant and equipment destroyed by fire whereas the previous quarter results included an impairment charge of $15,000,000.

11:06 AM EST - : Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc. : announced the results from 26 additional holes drilled on the Cote Lake Deposit on the Chester Project in Northern Ontario. At a 0.3 g/t cut-off grade, the Cote Lake Deposit currently hosts an indicated resource of 35 million tonnes averaging 0.82 g/t for contained gold of 0.93 million ounces and an inferred resource of 204 million tonnes averaging 0.91 g/t for 5.94 million ounces of contained gold. Today’s report was highlighted by intercepts of 155.00 metres of 1.31 g/t gold and 115.90 metres of 1.48 g/t gold.

11:05 AM EST - : Ridgeline Energy Services Inc. : reported that it has signed an agreement with Kerr Energy, LLC of Fort Worth, Texas for the installation of six water treatment facilities to be located in western Texas. The agreement with Kerr Energy is for seven years with a right of renewal and has projected revenues of $24 million dollars in the first five years.
