'MSE Enviro-Tech
Corp. announced that it and Hartindo product supplier Megola
Inc. had jointly signed a Letter Of Intent (LOI) with
WoodSmart Solutions, Inc. to test the feasibility of
incorporating the Hartindo AF21 Fire inhibitor into
WoodSmart's BluWood(R) treated wood products. The treated
lumber market is currently pegged at $4 Billion a year while
the wood product sales market is currently a $100 Billion a
year industry.'
Overview
MSE Enviro-Tech Corporation is an agent in technology
transfer, dedicated to providing access to world class
technologies available today. MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. has
aggressively started to pursue market share through a
nationwide marketing and distribution network being
established for the exciting Hartindo anti-fire product
line, for which it holds the United States agency
distribution rights. The product line includes the AF21
Flame Inhibitor, the AF11E 1:1 Halon replacement product and
AF31 Fire Extinguishing product, the Titan 21 Fire Blanket,
as well as the revolutionary rust converter and priming
agent, Dectan.
The Hartindo product lines encompass the world's most
advanced fire inhibitor and fire suppression products. MSE
Enviro-Tech Corp. proposes to exploit the USA by
establishing a network of dealers within the territory.
Rapid development of marketing and distribution plans is
underway. MEVT management is enthused regarding the
potential of the Hartindo products to rapidly capture market
share in the enormous United States market for fire fighting
and prevention technology.
Investment Highlights
- Shares of MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. were called for trading
on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in September 2007,
broadening the reach of the Company's stock into
international markets.
- In November 2007, the Company and supplier Megola Inc.
announced the signing of a definitive marketing and
distribution agreement with Janus Products Corp. (Janus) for
distribution and sales of the Titan 21 Fire Blanket for the
residential markets within Canada and the United States. The
terms of the initial purchase order require that 2,000
blankets be supplied to Janus upon acceptance of the PO and
a further 48,000 to be delivered in the First Quarter of
2008.
- In November 2007, MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. and supplier
Megola Inc. signed a joint Memorandum Of Understanding and
Intent (MOUI) with Logistik Unicorp Inc. and CTT Group Inc.,
to establish distribution of Hartindo AF21 within the
textile industry in North America.
- On September 5, 2007, MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. announced
that it and Hartindo product supplier Megola Inc. had
jointly signed a Letter Of Intent (LOI) with WoodSmart
Solutions, Inc. to test the feasibility of incorporating the
Hartindo AF21 Fire inhibitor into WoodSmart's BluWood(R) treated wood
products. The results of this test
show that the combination of BluWood and Hartindo AF21 does
not compromise the hygroscopicity of the treated material
and, in fact, it proved to be better than a widely used fire
retardant treatment currently on the market.
- PBDEs have already been banned in the European Union and
will be illegal in California in 2008. PBDEs, like DDT and
PCBs, are synthetic, organic molecules. The Hartindo AF21
fire inhibitor, to be distributed across the United States
by MSE Enviro-Tech, contains natural inorganic salts -- the
opposite end of the spectrum -- and is seen as a safe,
effective, water soluble and environmentally friendly
replacement for fire inhibitor applications.
- The treated lumber market is currently pegged at $4
Billion a year while the wood product sales market is
currently a $100 Billion a year industry.
- Whether the requirement is for passive protection,
portable fire extinguishers or total flooding systems, the
Hartindo product line provides the solution. All Hartindo
products are environmentally friendly, non-toxic and meet
the requirements of the Montreal and Kyoto Protocols.
- In August 2007, MSE Enviro-Tech Corp announced that its
Hartindo AF21 Fire Inhibitor was awarded a Class A rating
following an ASTM E-84-07 Surface Burning Test. In
September, the Company announced that AF21 had passed the
requirements of the new U.S. National Flammability Standard
for Mattresses through additional independent testing.
- In November, the Company announced that the Hartindo
AF31 multi-purpose, water-based, non-toxic and non-corrosive
fire extinguishing and fire inhibiting agent had earned a
Class A rating in successful independent testing. Also in
November, the Hartindo Titan 21 Fire Blanket passed NFPA 701
testing at an independent laboratory.
- The Company is currently working on auditing their
latest financials and are moving toward being an SEC
reporting Company in 2008.
Profile
MSE Enviro-Tech Corporation is an agent in technology
transfer, dedicated to providing access to world class
technologies available today.
Many innovative technologies never gain significant
market adoption in the marketplace. This occurs even when
there is a major investment in the technology. The common
reason for the slow market adoption of innovative technology
centers on the challenges of field execution in gaining
commitment from high adopting, decision making, prospects.
Slow adoption also occurs because of the great expense and
long time frames needed to build a highly effective sales
channels, sales teams and a market presence.
MEVT strives to seek out technologies that meet some or all
of the following criteria: a significant technological
advancement, have a global market and are socially and
environmentally responsible. The Company's focus is to
partner with innovative technology companies and facilitate
the adoption of their technologies with MEVT's established
prospect organizations.
Using a market driven approach to facilitate the
identification and acquisition of external technologies,
MEVT transfers proprietary technologies to beneficial
companies to help develop superior products resulting in a
strategic marketplace advantage.
MEVT provides comprehensive solutions for transferring new
technologies, managing intellectual property and providing
intellectual property consultation. In exchange for
facilitating the integration of these technologies into a
company’s portfolio MEVT is compensated in the form of cash
payment, percentage of gross revenues, equity securities or
a combination thereof.
Currently, MSE Enviro-Tech owns the United States Agency
Rights to the Hartindo line of products, including the
various Hartindo anti-fire products that have been effective
in numerous other countries and which are being introduced
across the United States by MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. As
previously announced, a recent independent "mattress burn"
test confirmed that the Hartindo AF21 Fire Inhibitor met all
the requirements of the new U.S. national flammability
standard for mattresses, which took effect on July 1, 2007.
In another independent burn test carried out on treated wood
for home construction, AF21 fully met the requirements for
the Class A Interior Wall and Ceiling Finish Category.
Latterly, the Class A designation earned by AF31 during a
test of wood treated with a formulation of Hartindo AF31
designed for use in forest fires, reinforces the belief that
AF31 has a broad set of fire extinguishing and fire
retardant applications.
The Company is in the process of establishing a nationwide
network of agents and distributors for the complete line of
Hartindo environmentally friendly anti-fire products,
encompassing AF21, a Fire Inhibitor, AF11E, a 1:1 Halon
replacement alternative, and AF31, a Fire Extinguishing and
Fire Inhibiting product that can be used on all classes of
fires, as well as the Titan 21 Fire Blanket.
About The Titan 21 Fire Blanket
The Titan 21 Fire Blanket is made from 100% cotton fabric that
has been treated with Hartindo AF21 Fire Inhibitor. It is
non-irritating and non-toxic and is resistant to bacterial and
fungal contamination.
The Titan 21 Fire Blanket will not burn or be penetrated by
fire, acting as a wall of protection. The Titan 21 Fire
Blanket can protect the body from fire and can also be used to
blanket and extinguish the fire source. Thus, the Titan 21
Fire Blanket is ideal for residential use as it can be used as
a protective blanket for family members and pets to escape
fires and as a first response tool in areas where a fire risk
exists, such as kitchens, garages, fireplaces, vehicles, home
workshops, etc.
Titan 21 Fire Blanket Certification
A recent test was conducted in accordance with NFPA 701 (2004
Edition), Standard Methods of Fire Tests for Flame Propagation
of Textiles and Films, at CTT Group facilities in
Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. The 100% cotton Titan 21 Fire Blanket
successfully passed the test with impressive results. (http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/071119/0330613.html)
About Hartindo AF11E
Belonging to the Halocarbon group of vaporizing liquid fire
extinguishing chemicals, it is similar in action to Halon, but
without any of the environmental or toxicity problems
associated with Halons. The AF11E Portable Extinguishers equal
that of industry used Halon chemicals, and the AF11E is also
non-toxic and with a special Hartindo nozzle, a long range
throw of 20 meters is achieved to keep the person as far away
from the fire as possible.
In common with other Halocarbons, Hartindo AF11E is:
- Multi-purpose - A, B, C class fires
- Clean Agent - leaves no residue
- Electrically non-conductive
About Hartindo AF21
AF21 is water-based, environmentally friendly, multi-purpose,
non-toxic and non-corrosive fire inhibitor. As opposed to the
numerous, and often times toxic, fire retardants on the market
that simply delay the spread of fire, AF21 renders materials
non-flammable, thereby preventing the spread of fire. It can
be applied to all natural fibers and many synthetics
materials. A few of the many applications include the
treatment of furniture, carpet, clothing, mattresses and
building materials, onsite or during the manufacturing
process, to dramatically reduce the possibility of these
materials catching fire.
About Hartindo AF31
AF31 is a water-based, environmentally friendly,
multi-purpose, non-toxic and non-corrosive fire extinguisher
and inhibitor. In its different forms and using different
equipment, it can be used to fight fires of all types. It can
be deployed by portable fire extinguishers, backpack sprayers,
fire trucks and water-bombing aircraft depending on the fire
situation. It has been used effectively in Indonesia for many
years to fight forest fires and protect critical installations
from the effects of fire. Unlike other commonly used fire
extinguishing agents, such as dry chemicals and CO2, Hartindo
AF31 requires no special or extensive cleanup procedures, it
will not irritate the respiratory system and it will not
settle in or clog a portable extinguisher if not used for an
extended period of time.

Industry Information
The United States has a severe fire problem, more so than
is generally perceived. Nationally, there are millions of
fires, thousands of deaths, tens of thousands of injuries, and
billions of dollar loss - which makes the U.S. fire problem
one of great national importance. Between 1996 and 2005, an
average of 3,932 Americans lost their lives and another 20,919
were injured annually as the result of fire. These averages do
not reflect the events of September 11, 2001.
The shocking numbers of lives lost, injuries inflicted and
property damaged through the nearly two million fires annually
in the United States has a huge price tag of more than $20
billion. Eighty-two percent of all fire deaths occur in the
home. The United States Fire Administration (USFA) points out
that "In less than 30 seconds a small flame can get completely
out of control and turn into a major fire. If you wake up to a
fire, you won't have time to grab valuables because fire
spreads too quickly and the smoke is too thick. There is only
time to escape." There is an urgent need for more effective
fire suppression and inhibiting technology to effectively
combat and prevent fires and save lives. MEVT's proven
Hartindo technology is aimed at this huge and critical market
need.
Every day Americans experience the horror of fire. But most
people don't understand fire. Only when we know the true
nature of fire can we prepare ourselves and our families. Each
year more than 4,000 Americans die and approximately 20,000
are injured in fires, many of which could be prevented.
The Overall Fire Picture - 2005
- There were 3,675 civilians that lost their lives as the
result of fire.
- There were 17,925 civilian injuries that occurred as the
result of fire.
- There were 115 firefighters killed while on duty.
- Fire killed more Americans than all natural disasters
combined.
- 83 percent of all civilian fire deaths occurred in
residences.
- 1.6 million fires were reported. Many others went
unreported, causing additional injuries and property loss.
- Direct property loss due to fires was estimated at $10.7
billion.
- An estimated 31,500 intentionally set structure fires
resulted in 315 civilian deaths.
- Intentionally set structure fires resulted in an
estimated $664 million in property damage.

Environmental Information
PBDEs -- A Serious Threat
PBDEs are an old class of chemical flame inhibitors that are
added to products as they are manufactured (mattresses,
upholstered furniture, etc.) The problem is that PBDE fire
retardants are not bound to the material and they are
"persistent" in the environment. In this respect, PBDEs have
been compared to DDT and PCBs in that they don't break down in
the environment. PBDEs are stored in fatty tissue and are not
readily soluble in water. Their presence in the environment is
spreading at an alarming rate, including PBDEs in many
foodstuffs and in human breast milk. Ongoing testing has
linked PBDEs to neurological, reproductive and thyroid damage
in animals. PBDEs have already been banned in the European
Union and will be illegal in California in 2008. PBDEs, like
DDT and PCBs, are synthetic, organic molecules.
The revolutionary Hartindo AF21 fire inhibitor, to be
distributed across the United States by MSE Enviro-Tech,
contains natural inorganic salts -- the opposite end of the
spectrum -- and is seen as a safe, effective, water soluble
and environmentally friendly replacement for fire inhibitor
applications. MSE Enviro-Tech Corp.'s AF21 Fire Inhibitor
appears to offer the perfect replacement solution to the use
of PBDEs.
