Micro-Cap Announces New Distribution Agreement With Major U.S. Grocery Store Chain

It is a cause for crisis, being stricken outside of the home without warning. At times like these, those in position to help you need as much information as is possible – as quickly as that information can be furnished.

To satisfy that need, Pennsylvania-based Medical Alarm Concepts Holding, Inc. (OTCBB:MDHI) has provided the MediPendant™, the only fully-monitored medical alarm system that allows you to speak and listen directly through the pendant. MDHI’s marketing efforts were given a kick-start on St. Patrick’s Day, when the company announced an unprecedented distribution agreement for MediPendant with one of the largest grocery store chains in the United States.

The contract provides for the device being available throughout the store, not just the pharmacy section. This particular offering of MDHI’s MediPendant program to customers will also include one free month of monitoring services, and an associated "lock box" device.

Headquartered out of the town of Plymouth Meeting, MDHI develops and manufactures innovative products and practical solutions within the framework of a vast growing marketplace. Initially, the company had built its reputation in the personal emergency response system ("PERS") and medical alert industry.

MAC’s management team has over 20 years combined experience in the PERS industry. Its patents are claimed to be some of the oldest and strongest in the business. Its sound reputation dates back to the inception of the PERS industry, where the company’s chief engineer advisor, was responsible for developing the technology that went on to coin the famous, "Help- I've-Fallen" tagline.

MediPendant, MDHI’s premiere medical alarm product, is the first monitored two-way voice speakerphone pendant for the PERS industry. With MediPendant, the user speaks directly through the pendant to communicate with the monitored call center. With its enhanced range and superior RF capabilities, MediPendant is positioned to revolutionize the PERS industry.

MDHI’s TelePendant utilizes similar technology to MediPendant, but does not direct emergency calls to a monitored call center. Instead, the user programs the unit to call a family member, a friend, a doctor’s office, or even emergency services. TelePendant's two-way voice speakerphone technology has superior battery life and enhanced range enabling the user to communicate from virtually anywhere inside and outside the home.

The deal with the grocery chain couldn’t come at a better time for the fortunes of the company, or its stock price. Investors will note that MDHI hit a gulch the day before the announcement to a mere two cents a share, a far cry from the $2.50 perch it attained for the last 52 weeks, just before champagne corks popped on New Year’s Eve.
