Vaso Corporation (OTC PINK:VASO) was out with third-quarter figures Wednesday that drew a lot of attention.

For the three months ended September 30, 2018, revenue increased 4% to $18.8 million from $18.0 million for the same period of 2017. The hike was the result of a $0.5 million, or 9%, growth in its professional sales service segment revenue, due to higher equipment deliveries by GE Healthcare, compared to the third quarter 2017.

Vaso had an operating loss of $241,000 for the third quarter 2018, a reduction of 61% when compared to an operating loss of $619,000 for the same period in 2017. The $378,000 improvement was principally due to the higher revenue in the professional sales service segment.

Net loss for the quarter was $377,000, compared with $816,000 for the prior-year period, an improvement of $439,000 or 54%.

Shares in VASO gained 35-1,000ths of a cent, or 1.1%, to 3.235 cents, on volume of 154,000 shares
