Crypto mining can have a serious environmental impact. While East Africa has one of the highest electric rates, this company is looking to take advantage of the country’s low hashtag rate and add sustainable crypto mining solutions.

WaterPure International, Inc. (OTC Pink: WPUR) is looking to introduce a sustainable cryptocurrency mining initiative to its portfolio of electric utility offerings.

After updating its decade old clean water operations and expanding into the electric utilities sector, WPUR will add sustainable cryptocurrency mining solutions to its electric utilities focus.

The company will expand its focus in East Africa by adding the sustainable cryptocurrency mining through more efficient and sustainable solutions, as WPUR attempts to launch fresh, clean, green mining operations.

Shares were down over one percent in afternoon trading.
