Plant Based Foods Producer Signs Agreement with Major Retailer

Plant-based foods are gaining in popularity—they’re good for consumers and good for the planet. And this producer of plant-based sustainable foods just announced an agreement with a major retailer in the Southwest.

Planet Based Foods Global Inc. (CSE: PBF) (OTCQB: PBFFF) announced that an agreement was reached with major southwestern grocery retailer, Fry's Food and Drug to offer Planet Based Foods' nutrient-rich "superfoods" in select stores, in today’s press release.

Arizona-based Fry's offers a wide array of bakery items, dairy, deli, frozen foods, general grocery, meat, pharmacy, produce, seafood, snacks, and liquor, with over 120 locations across the state of Arizona .

Braelyn Davis , Planet Based Foods CEO and co-founder said, "This is a great opportunity for us as we establish our presence in the American Southwest. We're thrilled that our products are becoming more accessible to consumers, and appreciate the successful reception of our products on shelves across the USA . U.S. shares ended Friday up over 22 percent, trading at $0.135, while Canadian shares last traded at $0.17.
