Another day, another trading halt by the IIROC. On Tuesday morning, a junior miner had its shares halted early in the session pending some news from the company.

Orford Mining Corporation (TSXV:ORM) reported preliminary drill hole results from its ongoing winter drilling at the Joutel Eagle Property located along the fertile Casa-Berardi Structural Zone and on the historical Eagle-Telbel Mine Trend in the Abitibi Greenstone belt, and traders appear excited about the results! Following the resumption of trade, shares briefly hit $0.215/share (+7.50%), which is a strong continuation of the momentum this stock has seen this month, coming from a February low of just $0.055/share.

Orford is a mineral explorer primarily focused on the exploration for gold on its Qiqavik project and recently acquired Joutel District projects, and nickel exploration on its West Raglan project, all situated in northern Quebec.
