Here Comes the Sun: Junior Miner Reveals B.C. Field Program

On a day when everything seemed brighter for some reason, Vancouver-based Sun Metals Corp. (TSX-Venture: SUNM) joined in the chorus with exciting news. 

The company came out Wednesday with details of its field program at Stardust, the Company's 100% owned, high-grade copper-gold project located in north-central B.C., is planned to begin mid-June with drill crews mobilized soon after.

The $3.8-million 2020 exploration program is fully funded and is planned to include diamond drilling with up to three drill rigs, as well as borehole electromagnetic geophysical surveys and continued geological studies, while fully meeting the Company's COVID-19 protocols. Crews are expected to mobilize on-site June 15 to prepare camp, with drill personnel planned to follow the first week of July. 

SUNM’s 2020 exploration program will focus on expanding the high-grade 421 zone at Stardust, and exploring for similar thick high-grade, massive sulphide zones for which this system is known. 

SUNM stock moved into noon hour up half a cent, or 5.6%, to 9.5 cents, on volume of 724,000.
