Fiber optic cables provide more bandwidth to carry more data than copper cables of the same diameter. And in today’s increasingly digital world,  fibre optic connectivity solutions are vital.

World fibre optic leader Lite Access Technologies Inc.  (TSXV: LTE) (OTC: LTCCF) announced in its press release that it has been awarded two projects for the supply and installation of fibre optic cable in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, BC.

The company offers clients integrated solutions for the design and implementation of fibre optic networks. The company is a world leader  in the use of innovative and proven micro/narrow trenching technologies, alternate methods of deployment and specialist products which transform the cost the network deployment for telecommunications operators. The projects are scheduled to begin this month.

Despite a general downward trend in markets today, Canadian shares were trading up in morning trade.
