Renewable natural gas — pipeline-quality gas that is fully interchangeable with conventional natural gas and thus can be used in natural gas — holds the potential to gain significant market share and this company just announced new contracts.

Greenlane Renewables Inc. (TSX: GRN) announced that it has signed new contracts with a combined value of C$13.5 million for the supply of its biogas upgrading technology for two landfill gas-to-renewable natural gas ("RNG") projects in South America.  Order fulfillment for both projects will begin immediately.

As a pioneer in the RNG market, Greenlane Renewables is a leading global provider of biogas upgrading systems, helping to clean up two of the largest and most difficult-to-decarbonize sectors of the global energy system: the natural gas grid and the commercial transportation sector.

Shares were trading up in morning trade at $0.79.
