Financial news from the medical front: Miramar, Fla-based Generex Biotechnology Corporation (OTC:GNBT) told investors Monday it is proceeding with the dividend in anticipation of listing on NASDAQ. And loyal investors can count on devotion being rewarded.

The Company has announced a new Record Date of August 30, along with a Pay Date of October 30,, with the Ex-Date of October 31, for the payment of the one-to-one stock dividend to shareholders.

Said CEO Joseph Moscato, “With this definitive Pay Date, Generex is able to reward our shareholders with a 1:1 dividend and provide the market with certainty on the timing of the 1:1 stock dividend payment.

Shares in GNBT took on 12 cents, or 5.3%, to $2.37, on volume of 114,000.
