Cryptocurrencies are often accused of not being ESG friendly. Well this company is looking to use solar power to make both crypto and web3 sustainable.

WaterPure International, Inc. (USOTC: WPUR) will be starting a solar farm project with the hopes of making both cryptocurrency and web3 sustainable. According to the firm’s press release, plans are to  tap Africa’s underutilized labor markets for mining with power provided by WPUR's solar farms.

Along with the firm’s recent partnership with Alternet Systems, Inc. (USOTC: ALYI) on the implementation of an off grid electric vehicle (EV) charging solution to be rolled out in Kenya, the solar farm project announced is intended to be phased into WPUR's partnership with ALYI.

Shares were trading up over 20 percent in afternoon trade.
