Shares Of Berkwood Resources Perk Higher On Lithium Project Acquisition

Shares of Berkwood Resources Ltd. (TSX-Venture:BKR) are galloping to the tune of 10.61% in mid-day trading as the Company announced that it has acquired from 1124026 B.C. Ltd a package of 53 claims located over a lithium rich zone of the Abitibi area, east of Simon Lake, Quebec, which the company has named the Delbreuil Lithium Project.

The Delbreuil Project acquisition transaction comprises payment to 1124026 B.C. Ltd of 2,100,000 common shares and $15,000.  The Abitibi area is a hotbed of mining activity as multiple lithium showings are known, including the Lac Simard showing with up to 1.3% lithium.

As mentioned off the top, shareholders are cheering the company announcement with shares currently trading at $0.365 per share, up 10.61% on the day thus far, however the move is on very thin volume.
