Today's Featured Research Reports
Shares of SpaceX have underperformed the Zacks Wireless National industry over the past month (-19.8% vs. -16%). The Zacks analyst maintains a Neutral view on the company. SpaceX reported relatively modest second-quarter 2026 results with the top and bottom line exceeding the respective Zacks Consensus Estimate.
Reusable launch scale and Starlink’s expanding subscriber, enterprise and government base support a durable infrastructure advantage. Starship testing and V3 satellites could raise network capacity, while AI compute agreements and the pending Cursor acquisition broaden monetization.
The offset is investment intensity and execution. SpaceX is committing substantial capital to compute, satellites and launch infrastructure even as GAAP losses remain. The assets are difficult to replicate, but the risk-reward remains balanced until newer platforms convert investment into more consistent returns.

Arista Networks’ shares have outperformed the Zacks Internet - Software industry over the year-to-date period (+48% vs. -5.6%). The company reported strong second-quarter 2026 results with both adjusted earnings and revenues beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate. It is well positioned as cloud, AI and enterprise customers upgrade high-speed Ethernet networks.
Demand spans AI fabrics, core data centers, campus and routing, aided by a stronger supply chain and deeper software automation. New AI fabric platforms, including liquid-cooling options and scale-across capabilities, support next-generation AI clusters, while campus recognition shows traction beyond hyperscale cloud.
However, Arista faces intense competition in cloud networking, AI Ethernet and high-speed switching markets. The company derives a substantial portion of revenue from a limited number of large customers. Any slowdown in AI infrastructure demand or delays in customer adoption could impact its growth.

Shares of Boeing have gained +7.3% over the year-to-date period against the Zacks Aerospace - Defense industry’s gain of +7.4%. The company’s second-quarter loss was wider than expected. Boeing remains one of the largest U.S. commercial aircraft manufacturers. Steadily growing commercial air travel should boost Boeing’s service business unit.
The outlook for Boeing’s defense and space business segment also remains optimistic. The government’s inclination toward strengthening the nation’s defense and space system should act as a growth catalyst for Boeing.
However, execution risk, certification delays, labor shortage and a high debt load are concerns. Trade tensions between the United States and China may cause further delay or disruption of deliveries, hurting its operational performance. We have a Neutral rating on the shares.
