SoundHound AI, Inc. SOUN is positioning OASYS as a key driver of enterprise expansion, with the platform helping shorten sales cycles and accelerate customer implementations. Launched in May, OASYS helped the company move prospects from demonstrations to contracts within months and convert pilots into large implementations at a faster pace. The company also secured an 8-figure commitment less than 90 days after the initial demonstration.
This traction is reflected in SoundHound’s financial results. Second-quarter revenues rose 45% year over year to $61.9 million, while enterprise AI remained the largest revenue contributor. Growth came across healthcare, financial services, technology and automotive, providing a broader base for OASYS adoption. The company also raised its 2026 revenue outlook to $230-$260 million, citing strong first-half performance, OASYS investments, customer expansion and go-to-market efforts.
OASYS could also increase the value of SoundHound’s existing enterprise relationships. Its AI-builds-AI capability can reduce deployment time from months to minutes, while the platform supports multiple channels and use cases. Healthcare provides one example, with seven deals signed in the quarter and one top-20 provider quadrupling spending. Financial services also added contract expansions with two of the top seven global banking institutions and a major global insurer.
With larger deals, faster implementations and expansion across enterprise verticals, OASYS has the potential to strengthen SoundHound’s enterprise growth prospects. The ability to convert adoption into recurring and expanding customer relationships will remain important as the platform scales.
SoundHound vs. Other Market Players
SoundHound competes with C3.ai, Inc. AI and NICE Ltd. NICE in the rapidly expanding enterprise AI market.
C3.ai provides enterprise AI applications and a platform aimed at helping businesses deploy AI across multiple industries. Its broad enterprise AI opportunity and focus on large accounts provide avenues for growth as companies increase AI adoption. However, weak sales execution has weighed on C3.ai’s growth, with it undertaking a major restructuring of the sales organization and go-to-market strategy.
Meanwhile, NICE focuses on customer engagement through its CXone platform, combining customer interactions, human agents and AI capabilities. Its integrated platform, enterprise-scale deployments and native Cognigy integration provide a competitive advantage as customers shift from fragmented solutions toward unified AI platforms. However, the move toward larger enterprise AI deployments can lengthen the time between bookings and revenues as customers prepare data, governance and operating models before moving AI into production.
SoundHound’s focus on voice AI, faster deployments and expansion across enterprise verticals gives it a distinct position in the market. However, C3.ai’s broad enterprise AI platform and NICE’s established customer engagement platform create competition as enterprises increase spending on AI solutions.
