The fear of missing out, or FOMO, also plays a factor in investing, especially with particular tech giants, as well as popular consumer-facing stocks.

Kratos is the primary unmanned aerial target drone system provider for the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Army and several allied defense agencies. The company is also expanding in hypersonics, rocket systems, propulsion and microwave electronics. Kratos' backlog increased to approximately $2.1 billion at the end of the second quarter of 2026. However, the company's shares have underperformed the industry in the past year. Moreover, labor shortage poses a threat to Kratos' growth prospects. The company is also affected by supply-chain disruptions, working capital requirements and foreign currency movements that could limit near-term margin and cash flow improvement.
Over the past four weeks, shares have rallied 26.55%, and there have been 5 higher earnings estimate revisions in the past two months for fiscal 2026 compared to none lower. The consensus estimate has moved up as well.
