Intuit Inc. INTU ended fiscal 2026 on a strong note, with fourth-quarter revenues rising 13.7% to $4.35 billion. The metric also topped the $4.27 billion Zacks Consensus Estimate by 1.9%. Global Business Solutions revenues also grew 13.6% to $3.42 billion, while Consumer revenues climbed 13.7% to $930 million. Meanwhile, full-year 2026 revenues rose 13.9% to a record $21.45 billion.
In Global Business Solutions, QuickBooks continued to show strength during the reported quarter. QuickBooks Online Accounting revenues reached $1.32 billion, up from $1.10 billion year over year, aided by higher prices, customer growth and product mix.
Online Ecosystem revenues rose 17.4% to $2.6 billion, while total online payment volume, including bill pay, jumped 32%. QuickBooks Capital loan volume increased 54% to $1.9 billion.
Consumer trends were mixed, but still offered growth areas. Credit Karma revenues increased 16.5% to $743 million, supported by personal loans, auto insurance and credit cards. TurboTax revenues rose 3.4% to $153 million in the fourth quarter, while TurboTax Live revenues grew 37% for the full year as its customer base increased 38%. ProTax revenues advanced 6.3% to $34 million.
The bigger question is whether Intuit can keep delivering double-digit growth. For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, management expects revenues of $4.29-$4.31 billion, up 11%. For fiscal 2027, revenues are expected to reach $23.28 billion to $23.51 billion, representing 9-10% growth. Global Business Solutions is expected to grow 13-14%, but Consumer growth is guided at only 4-6%.
How Did Intuit’s Competitors Report Results?
Paychex PAYX, which competes with Intuit in payroll and small-business services, reported fiscal 2026 revenues of $6.51 billion, up 17% year over year. Fourth-quarter revenues increased 12% to $1.61 billion. Management attributed revenue growth to the Paycor acquisition, growth in the number of average clients and HR outsourcing solutions worksite employees, price realization and higher product penetration.
Sage Group SGPYY, a major Intuit competitor in accounting and payroll software, reported strong third-quarter fiscal 2026 performance. For the nine months ended June 30, underlying revenues increased 11% to £2.06 billion, while Sage Business Cloud revenues rose 15%. Growth was driven by Sage Intacct, cloud products, new customers and greater adoption across markets.

Shares of Intuit have gained 13.3% over the past three months, outperforming the broader industry and the S&P 500 composite.

In terms of forward 12-month Price/Sales (P/S), Intuit is currently trading at 4.09X, which is at a discount to the industry average of 6.19X.

Intuit’s estimate revisions reflect a positive trend. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for fiscal 2026 EPS has been revised upward by 2 cents to $27.30 over the past week. The consensus estimate for 2026 calls for 12.48% growth year over year.
