Intuit Q4 Revenues Rise: Can Double-Digit Growth Continue?

Intuit Inc. INTU ended fiscal 2026 on a strong note, with fourth-quarter revenues rising 13.7% to $4.35 billion. The metric also topped the $4.27 billion Zacks Consensus Estimate by 1.9%. Global Business Solutions revenues also grew 13.6% to $3.42 billion, while Consumer revenues climbed 13.7% to $930 million. Meanwhile, full-year 2026 revenues rose 13.9% to a record $21.45 billion.

In Global Business Solutions, QuickBooks continued to show strength during the reported quarter. QuickBooks Online Accounting revenues reached $1.32 billion, up from $1.10 billion year over year, aided by higher prices, customer growth and product mix.

Online Ecosystem revenues rose 17.4% to $2.6 billion, while total online payment volume, including bill pay, jumped 32%. QuickBooks Capital loan volume increased 54% to $1.9 billion.

Consumer trends were mixed, but still offered growth areas. Credit Karma revenues increased 16.5% to $743 million, supported by personal loans, auto insurance and credit cards. TurboTax revenues rose 3.4% to $153 million in the fourth quarter, while TurboTax Live revenues grew 37% for the full year as its customer base increased 38%. ProTax revenues advanced 6.3% to $34 million.

The bigger question is whether Intuit can keep delivering double-digit growth. For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, management expects revenues of $4.29-$4.31 billion, up 11%. For fiscal 2027, revenues are expected to reach $23.28 billion to $23.51 billion, representing 9-10% growth. Global Business Solutions is expected to grow 13-14%, but Consumer growth is guided at only 4-6%.

How Did Intuit’s Competitors Report Results?

Management attributed revenue growth to the Paycor acquisition, growth in the number of average clients and HR outsourcing solutions worksite employees, price realization and higher product penetration.

Sage Group SGPYY, a major Intuit competitor in accounting and payroll software, reported strong third-quarter fiscal 2026 performance. For the nine months ended June 30, underlying revenues increased 11% to £2.06 billion, while Sage Business Cloud revenues rose 15%. Growth was driven by Sage Intacct, cloud products, new customers and greater adoption across markets.
