Buy These 3 Nationwide Mutual Funds for Long-Term Gains

Nationwide Insurance has been around since 1926, and in the past century it has created numerous affiliated insurance and financial services companies.

Nationwide offers a variety of mutual funds through its many affiliated financial companies. Many of Nationwide’s mutual funds are offered by some of the country’s top professional managers, who work to achieve specific investment goals with investment strategies tailored to a particular portfolio.

The Nationwide mutual funds hold a variety of securities and invest in different parts of the market. The funds have different objectives and therefore vary in terms of diversification, portfolio structure, fees, risk and investment approach, making them compelling investment options.

We have picked three Nationwide mutual funds — Nationwide BNY Mellon Dyn US Eq Inc NWAMX, Nationwide Bailard Intl Eqs NWHJX and Nationwide Inv Dest Agrsv GAFRX — which investors should buy now for the long term. These funds have a Zacks Mutual Fund Rank #1 (Strong Buy) and Rank #2 (Buy), with positive three-year and five-year annualized returns, minimum initial investments within $5000 and expense ratios considerably lower than the category average. So, these funds have provided a comparatively stronger performance and carry a lower fee.

Nationwide BNY Mellon Dyn US Eq Inc fund seeks total return through capital appreciation and/or income by outperforming the Russell 1000 Value Index over a full market cycle while maintaining similar market risk. NWAMX invests its net assets in equity securities of U.S. issuers, primarily common stocks and in equity securities of foreign companies.

John C Bailer has been the lead manager of NWAMX since Aug. 28, 2019. Most of the fund’s holdings were in companies such as UnitedHealth Group Inc (3.6%), Cisco Systems, Inc. (3.3%) and Texas Instruments Inc (3%) as of April 30, 2026.

NWAMX’s 3-year and 5-year annualized returns are 17.7% and 13.5%, respectively. Its net expense ratio is 0.70%. NWAMX has a Zacks Mutual Fund Rank #1.

Nationwide Inv Dest Agrsv fund seeks to maximize total investment return for a given level of risk. GAFRX invests in underlying funds, and fund allocation focuses on stock investments, both U.S. and international.
