Immunocore IMCR announced that it has achieved target enrollment of 540 patients in the phase III TEBE-AM study, which is evaluating its sole marketed drug, Kimmtrak (tebentafusp), in patients with second-line or later advanced melanoma.
The randomized, registrational phase III TEBE-AM study is evaluating Kimmtrak as a monotherapy and in combination with Merck’s MRK blockbuster PD-L1 inhibitor, Keytruda (pembrolizumab) versus investigator’s choice (control arm) in HLA-A*02:01-positive patients with advanced melanoma whose disease progressed after prior therapy.
Overall survival is the primary endpoint of the TEBE-AM study.
Merck’s biggest revenue driver, Keytruda, is approved for several cancer indications. MRK recorded $16.40 billion in Keytruda sales in the first half of 2026, up 4.2% year over year.
Immunocore expects to report top-line overall survival data from the TEBE-AM study as early as the end of 2026. If the study data are successful, they could provide meaningful visibility into Kimmtrak's potential in the previously treated advanced melanoma setting.
Per management, Kimmtrak could address a significant unmet need among up to 4,000 HLA-A*02:01-positive patients with previously treated advanced melanoma in the post-PD1 setting.
IMCR’s Price Performance
Year to date, shares of Immunocore have lost 6.4% against the industry’s increase of 5.8%.

Since its approval and launch, Kimmtrak has established itself as the standard of care for eligible patients with metastatic uveal melanoma in most markets where it has been launched.
Kimmtrak continues to witness healthy adoption, supported by increasing physician awareness, broader reimbursement coverage and geographic expansion.
