The importance of lithium keeps growing as the need for sustainable energy sources increases. This firm just announced new findings at its Western Australia project.

Macarthur Minerals Limited (TSXV: MMS) announced that Infinity Mining Limited identified further rock chip sampling at four new Lithium pegmatite zones at Tambourah South in Western Australia, all of which display traits indicative of highly fractionated rare-element pegmatites, per the company’s press release. Macarthur holds over 21 percent and is the largest shareholder of Infinity Mining.

These newly found results confirm the highly-fractionated, rate-element pegmatites at Tambourah South, and the company announced further work planned which includes geochemical sampling, geophysical surveys and RC drilling.

Shares of MMS were trading at $0.14 in late morning trade.
