The precious metals sector continues to attract renewed attention as investors look for leverage to rising silver and gold prices. High-grade discoveries, in particular, remain one of the most powerful catalysts in the junior mining space, where strong drill results can quickly reshape the perceived scale and economics of an emerging deposit.

Shares of Terra Balcanica Resources Corp. (CSE: TERA) (OTC: TEBAF) are in focus Wednesday after the company reported additional high-grade assay results from its ongoing Phase III drill campaign at the Cumavici Ridge target within its Viogor-Zanik project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Recent drilling continues to confirm the presence of high-grade silver-antimony mineralization. One drillhole returned 607 grams per tonne silver equivalent over 3.0 meters, including a higher-grade interval of 842 g/t silver equivalent over 1.7 meters. A second drillhole intersected 670 g/t silver equivalent over 3.9 meters, including a standout interval grading 2,115 g/t silver equivalent over 1.0 meter.

These results represent step-out drilling, extending mineralization along strike from previously reported intercepts and reinforcing the continuity of the system. The new holes were positioned both northwest and southwest of earlier drill targets, suggesting the mineralized structure is expanding and remains open in multiple directions.

Management noted that drilling to date has now outlined a high-grade, tabular body of silver-antimony dominant mineralization at Cumavici Ridge. More than two dozen drillholes have intersected mineralization across approximately 180 meters of strike length, with the structure tested to depths exceeding 200 meters and still open down dip.

The Cumavici Ridge target is part of a broader, largely underexplored five-kilometer corridor hosting multiple polymetallic systems. In addition to the flagship ridge zone, Terra has identified several nearby targets, including Cumavici Crest, Joseva, and Cumurnica, which management believes could be linked within a larger epithermal system.

Geologically, the project is characterized by fault-hosted mineralization within volcanic rocks, with silver and antimony as dominant components alongside gold, lead, and zinc. The presence of massive sulphide zones and consistent mineralization styles across drillholes supports the interpretation of a coherent and expanding system.

Looking ahead, the company plans to continue drilling to test potential connections between Cumavici Ridge and adjacent targets, particularly the Cumavici Crest zone. Additionally, Terra is preparing to begin drilling at the previously untested Cumurnica target, located approximately 1.5 kilometers to the southwest.

As exploration progresses, continued high-grade intercepts and expanding strike length could further define the scale of the mineral system, positioning the project as a developing polymetallic discovery within a prospective Balkan mining district.

Shares of TERA closed Tuesday at C$0.06, while shares of TEBAF finished the session at $0.0492.
