Completing a major multi-million-dollar exploration program funded entirely by a multinational mining partner drove strong interest in junior base metals today, demonstrating how institutional validation de-risks early-stage targets. When a major international miner funds the inaugural drill campaign across an untested regional block, the market prices in district-scale discovery potential as maiden drill core moves to the lab for assay verification.

Inomin Mines Inc. (TSX-Venture: MINE) announced Monday the completion of its $2.3 million exploration program at the 28,000-hectare Beaver-Lynx polymetallic project in south-central British Columbia. The campaign, which represents the largest single exploration investment at the property to date, was fully funded by strategic partner Sumitomo Metal Mining Canada, a subsidiary of Tokyo-listed Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. (OTC: SMMYY).

The 2026 program delivered the first-ever diamond drilling at the Lynx block, comprising nine holes totaling 3,452.8 metres at the 6 km² Onuki zone—a major magnetic and geochemical surface anomaly. Inomin also completed a 158.4 line-kilometre ground magnetic survey at Onuki to refine structural modeling. The Beaver-Lynx project sits 50 kilometres north of Williams Lake, adjacent to the Gibraltar copper mine and Mount Polley copper-gold mine. Previous drilling on the northern Beaver block outlined extensive near-surface nickel-magnesium mineralization with cobalt, chromium, platinum, and palladium credits. All core samples from the Onuki program have been submitted for laboratory analysis.

Next primary catalysts include the receipt and publication of complete assay results from the nine maiden drill holes at Onuki, followed by joint technical evaluations with Sumitomo to guide future project investment decisions.

Shares of MINE are up 8.3% to $0.13 on the TSXV.
