Uranium’s importance is growing particularly as fossil fuels come under pressure. Uranium provides nuclear fuel used to generate electricity in nuclear power stations.

Skyharbour Resources Ltd.’s (TSX-V: SYH) partner company Azincourt Energy provided an update on its plans for its fully funded upcoming fall and winter field season at its uranium project, known as the East Preston Project in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan, Canada, per the company’s press release.

An extensive drill program is planned for the upcoming fall and winter, as hydrothermal alteration, anomalous radioactivity, and elevated uranium have been demonstrated to exist within these structurally disrupted conductor zones.  Approximately 6,000 meters of drilling in 20+ diamond drill holes is planned, with a  priority to continue to evaluate the alteration zones and elevated uranium values identified in the winter of 2022.

Shares were trading at $0.375 in afternoon trade.
