Dually-Listed Junior Miner Starts Week With An Explosive Session

A dually-listed junior miner out of Toronto is turning heads on Monday after the company revealed a maiden resource estimate of about 1.7 million ounces of gold across two fully permitted assets in south-central British Columbia, according to today’s press release.

Traders couldn’t get their hands and shares of Talisker Resources Ltd. (TSX:TSK) (OTCQX:TSKFF) fast enough following the announcement, with shares trading on the TSX reaching up to $0.155/share (+14.81%) at the session high. This move is a strong continuation of the success this micro cap has had over the last three months.

With gold trading near its all-time high, the spotlight has certainly shifted to those within the mineral and mining space as of late. The momentum this stock has seen to start off the week is not necessarily isolated as some other miners in the penny stock realm also found success during today’s session.
