A dually-listed junior miner based out of Toronto stole the show on Tuesday after the company announced a potentially game-changing discovery at its new Fazenda do Posto discover in southern Brazil.

Shares of Lavras Gold Corp. (TSXV:LGC) (OTCQB:LGCFF) went soaring on the discovery, with shares on the Canadian side closing up at $0.83/share (+107.50%) and those on the U.S. side closing up at $0.5701/share (+120.12%). It will be interesting to see how things progress come Wednesday’s session!

Lavras Gold Corp is a junior exploration company engaged in the exploration and development of the Lavras do Sul gold project located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
