Dually-Listed Junior Miner Rallies On New Discovery Announcement

Whenever publicly-traded junior miners make announcements pertaining to new and existing projects, sometimes we’ll see massive price swings in the stock price.

Just today, a Montreal based miner announced that its field crew has discovered several spodumene occurrences in pegmatites in the eastern part of the Serpent-Radisson Property located in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region, Québec. According to the release, “this discovery was made in the initial days of prospecting and, as a result, Harfang intends to devote most of its efforts for the remaining prospecting season to the Property which is already known for its gold and copper potential.”

The excitement surrounding this announcement caused traders to snatch up shares of Harfang Exploration Inc. (TSXV:HAR) (OTCPK:HRFEF) as shares went on to close Wednesday at $0.185/share (+19.35%).
