Game-Changing Tungsten Discovery in Portugal Propels This Junior Miner’s Stock Higher

With tungsten prices surging, the race to secure reliable supply is intensifying as governments and companies move to meet rising demand from sectors such as defense, electronics, and jewelry.

One micro-cap company may be positioning itself to help ease future supply constraints. Allied Critical Metals Inc. (CSE: ACM) (OTCQB: ACMIF) has reported one of the highest-grade tungsten intercepts in recent Western exploration from its Borralha Tungsten Project in northern Portugal, where drilling returned 12 metres grading 4.27% WO₃, including 6 metres at 8.39% WO₃ from 252 metres depth. The results confirm a high-grade breccia corridor and support earlier visual observations of wolframite mineralization. To date, over 2,500 metres have been drilled across nine holes, with another 1,600 metres currently underway and a fully funded 1,528 metres planned, with two rigs active on site. The update comes as tungsten prices have surged to $545 USD/MTU—up roughly 40% in the past four months—driven by growing demand and tightening supply from outside Western markets.

Shares of ACM are currently up 18.18% at $0.52 while U.S. listed shares (ACMIF) are unchanged in late-morning trading.
