Junior Miner Unveils Record-Breaking Gold Grades in Central Newfoundland, Shares Rally

The phrase “Highest Ever Gold Samples” is sure to grab investors’ attention. That’s exactly what one micro-cap company announced this morning, sending its shares soaring.

Canterra Minerals Corp. (TSX-Venture: CTM) (OTCQB: CTMCF) announced outstanding results from its Wilding Gold Project in central Newfoundland, including grab samples reaching an exceptional 535 g/t gold. The 55 km project sits along the same gold-bearing corridor as Equinox Gold’s (TSX: EQX) (NYSE American: EQX) producing Valentine Mine. Highlights include multiple high-grade samples of 535 g/t, 169 g/t, 135 g/t, and 126 g/t Au, as well as evidence of mineralization extending 14 km along strike at the Noel Paul prospect, with samples up to 6.35 g/t Au. Additional findings, such as a 0.60 g/t Au sample at the East Alder prospect, suggest the property hosts multiple gold-bearing zones with significant exploration potential.

Shares of CTM are currently up 19.05% at $0.125, while U.S. listed shares (CTMCF) are up 17.34% at $0.089 in late-morning trading.
