As geopolitical tensions persist and NATO nations continue reinforcing their eastern flank, demand is rising for rapidly deployable communications and surveillance infrastructure. Governments across Central and Eastern Europe are prioritizing sovereign-capable defense technologies that can be produced, maintained, and supported locally while meeting modern battlefield and border security requirements.

Shares of Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. (CSE: CTTT) (OTC: CITLF) are moving higher Wednesday after the company announced it has executed a Letter of Intent with H. Cegielski – Poznań S.A., a subsidiary of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A., one of Poland’s leading defense and industrial groups. The stock is up 16.9% to C$0.485 in Canada and 16.7% to $0.35 on the OTC market in afternoon trading.

Under the LOI, the companies intend to establish a long-term strategic partnership focused on the production and deployment of CiTech’s Nexus 20 autonomous platform across Central and Eastern Europe. The agreement follows a previously executed Non-Disclosure Agreement and reflects a shared objective to combine CiTech’s technology with HCP’s established manufacturing and integration capabilities to address the needs of the Polish Armed Forces and NATO’s Eastern Flank.

The proposed cooperation includes establishing HCP as a regional manufacturing and integration hub for Nexus 20 platforms. The partnership is also expected to involve technology transfer initiatives to support local maintenance, training, and operational readiness. In addition, the companies plan to leverage HCP’s position within the PGZ Group alongside CiTech’s international partnerships to pursue government and defense contracts.

The LOI outlines several near-term milestones. In March 2026, CiTech CEO Brenton Scott is scheduled to visit HCP’s headquarters in Poznań to advance and finalize commercial, technical, and logistical arrangements. In May 2026, the first Nexus 20 prototype unit is expected to be delivered to HCP’s facility for technical evaluation, training, and proof-of-concept demonstrations for regional stakeholders.

The Nexus 20 platform is designed to provide rapid, autonomous telecommunications and surveillance infrastructure to support modern defense and critical security operations. By pairing CiTech’s self-deploying platform technology with HCP’s large-scale industrial manufacturing expertise, the companies aim to offer a sovereign-capable solution tailored to European strategic clients.

Management characterized the partnership as a significant step in CiTech’s international expansion strategy, complementing the company’s previously established EU headquarters in Latvia. Investors appear to be responding positively as the company advances commercialization efforts for its autonomous mobile communications platforms.
