It has been awhile since the talk of EVs dominated both the headlines as well as many of our features on All Penny Stocks. This trend has been somewhat kicked on Tuesday after a vehicle manufacturer announced that it delivered its first zero-emmissions school bus to Mount Desert Island Regional School System in Bar Harbor, Maine.

The news sent shares of The Lion Electric Company (NYSE:LEV) higher on Tuesday as shares went on to climb up to $2.08 (+13.04%) at the session high.

The Lion Electric Co is a manufacturer of zero-emission vehicles. It creates, designs and manufactures all-electric class 5 to class 8 commercial urban trucks and all-electric buses and minibuses for the school, paratransit and mass transit segments. Lion is a North American company engaged in electric transportation and designs, builds and assembles all its vehicles components, including chassis, battery packs, truck cabins and bus bodies.
