Group 11 refers to a column in the periodic table known as the coinage metals. This firm, which takes its name from those metals, just announced drill results at its new zinc-lead-silver discovery, and shares are up on the news.

Group Eleven Resources Corp. (TSXV: ZNG) (OTCBB: GRLVF) announced in a press release today the results from the first four holes of the 2024 drill program at the firm’s 100%-owned Ballywire zinc-lead-silver discovery PG West Project in Ireland.

The positive drilling results from the Ballywire project show all four exploratory drill holes targeting previously unidentified gravity anomalies located east of the initial discovery area encountered mineralization. This, combined with the trend of high-grade zones already identified, suggests the potential for a strengthened mineral system further north of these anomalies.  Exploration efforts are ongoing with two drilling rigs deployed and ongoing efforts aim to define the full extent of the mineralized zone and its potential value.

Group Eleven Resources is a mineral exploration company focused on advanced-stage zinc exploration projects in Ireland. U.S. shares were trading up at $0.201 in morning trade.
