USPTO Issuance Sends Micro Cap Soaring

A Texas-based healthcare company had an extremely strong finish to the week following an announcement that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued U.S. Patent No. 12,279,889 B2 (the ‘899 patent).

Traders wasted little time buying up shares of Autonomix Medical Inc. (Nasdaq:AMIX), pushing the micro cap up to $2.43/share (+94.40%) at the early session high. This move could indicate a breakout is on the horizon for this stock as it attempts to break the multi-month downtrend it’s been stuck in.
