Even in the dog days of summer, earnings season is in full swing, and so far, Q3 2025 is off to a cautiously optimistic start, with early signs of strong beats—especially in the Tech and Financial sectors. Today, we’ve highlighted a few micro-cap companies that delivered impressive results and are seeing their shareholders reward them accordingly.

Waste Energy Corp. (OTCQB: WAST) is seeing some shareholder love with a 15.27% rally so far today as the company reported its second straight quarter of revenue growth and its first-ever operating profit for Q2 2025, driven by cost discipline and strategic spending. Year-to-date, the company’s total assets have surged over fifteenfold, reflecting expanded operational capacity and a stronger balance sheet.

According to the press release, Waste Energy is close to finalizing agreements to wipe out over $1 million in debt by issuing 3.41 million restricted shares valued above $0.29 each, with a minimum 90-day trading restriction. Management confirmed there will be no reverse stock split in 2025. The company also secured patent-pending status for a blockchain and NFT-based system to automate carbon credit creation and emissions control, while acquiring a nearly four-acre site in Midland, Texas, to scale its waste-to-energy operations.

Meanwhile, shares of Zoomd Technologies Ltd. (TSX-Venture: ZOMD) (OTC: ZMDTF) are zooming higher (we had to) as the company posted strong Q2 2025 results, with revenue climbing 40% year-over-year to $19.6 million and adjusted EBITDA jumping over 80% to $5.6 million. Net income rose to $6.1 million, up $3.9 million from the same period last year, while operating cash flow reached $5.2 million, boosting the company’s cash position to $16.5 million. Earnings per share for the quarter came in at C$0.08. At last check, shares of ZOMD are up 23.45% to $1.79 while U.S. listed shares rally 24.48% to $1.307 in mid-morning trading.

Lastly, shares of Biotricity Inc. (OTCQB: BTCY) are also on the move higher as the company opened fiscal 2026 with a strong first quarter, reporting a 21% year-over-year revenue increase to $3.9 million and gross margins rising to 80.5% from 73.8%, driven by growth in recurring technology fees, AI-driven operational efficiencies, and lower monitoring and cloud costs. The company achieved its first-ever positive EBITDA at $333,337, up 118.7% from the prior year, while narrowing its net loss to $0.75 million, or $0.03 per share—an 80.6% improvement over Q1 FY25 even after excluding a $3 million one-time item from last year. Shares of BTCY are up 6.99% at $0.5778 at last check.
