Major Copper Discovery May Be Growing Much Larger as This Stock Nears High

The race to secure domestic copper resources is heating up, as demand for this critical metal surges in support of electrification, renewable infrastructure, and next-gen technologies. As exploration intensifies across North America, one ambitious drill campaign in Idaho is starting to show signs of something big—potentially much bigger than initially expected.

This morning, Hercules Metals Corp. (TSX-Venture: BIG) (OTCQB: BADEF) announced continued success at its flagship porphyry copper project in western Idaho, where shares are up 5.9% in early Wednesday trading to $0.72. Seven holes have now been completed with five more in progress, amounting to over 5,500 metres drilled so far this season. The company’s updated 3D geological model has been validated by multiple holes, leading to a ramp-up in drill rigs and a systematic approach aimed at defining mineralization along a 1.3-kilometre strike, and potentially expanding it in both directions.

Key step-out drilling to the northeast and south has revealed new porphyry-style mineralization, supported by strong geophysical anomalies, surface copper-molybdenum samples, and early success beneath previously untested Jurassic cover. A major MT conductivity anomaly to the south spans over 4 kilometers of land where Hercules holds surface mining rights, hinting at significant upside potential. With core samples now at the lab and assay results expected in 6–8 weeks, investors will be watching closely for the next round of results.

Shares are in a solid uptrend and now stand just 6 seats from a 52-week high.
