As gold continues its epic rally—surging past US$4,000 per ounce and now eyeing the US$4,100 mark—miners in the sector are poised to benefit from the ongoing commodity boom, particularly those showing improving fundamentals, such as today’s standout announcement from a junior explorer drilling in Kazakhstan.

Arras Minerals Corp. (TSX-Venture: ARK) (OTCQB: ARRKF) announced strong drill results from the Berezski East Target within its Elemes Project in Kazakhstan, confirming the growing potential of this emerging gold-copper system. The standout hole, EL25019, intersected 457.5 metres grading 0.63 g/t gold-equivalent (AuEq) from surface, including a higher-grade section of 231.0 metres averaging 0.98 g/t AuEq and 91.0 metres grading 1.77 g/t AuEq from 88 metres depth. The continuous mineralization starting at surface highlights both the scale and quality of the system developing across the Berezski Central–Berezski East corridor.

Additional drilling, including hole EL25017, returned intervals such as 37.0 metres grading 0.13 g/t AuEq and 9.5 metres at 0.55 g/t AuEq, further supporting the district’s mineral potential. These results build on the Company’s recent discoveries at Elemes and reinforce Arras Minerals’ position as a leading explorer in the region. The latest intercepts confirm the presence of a large, near-surface mineralized system that could represent a significant new gold-copper discovery in Kazakhstan.

Tim Barry, CEO of Arras Minerals, commented in today’s press release: " Drillhole EL25019 has delivered an exceptional high-grade gold-copper intercept from surface, confirming Berezski East's strong potential to host broad zones of high-grade mineralization. Broad zones of potassic alteration and the presence of copper minerals such as bornite and chalcopyrite suggests this target may form part of a larger porphyry system — a highly encouraging development. When we look at the area between Berezski Central and Berezski East, we continue to see the potential for continuity and scale. Additional holes are being planned at Berezski East, and we already have a focus at Berezski Central with one dedicated drill rig currently operating there."

Shares of ARK were last trading at $0.85, up 13.33% while U.S. listed shares (ARRKF) were up 15.55% at $0.624 in mid-morning trading.
