Some commodity markets do not move gradually. They break. Antimony is one of them. After trading in a relatively sleepy range for years, the metal surged to record highs in 2025 as supply chain disruptions forced buyers to rethink sourcing almost overnight. According to Fastmarkets, antimony prices peaked near $59,750 per tonne last July, a dramatic move for a market most investors rarely follow until the numbers get impossible to ignore.

Shares of Antimony Resources Corp. (CSE: ATMY) (OTCQB: ATMYF) are moving higher Wednesday after the company reported additional high-grade drill results from its Bald Hill antimony project in southern New Brunswick, including an intersection grading 26.9% antimony.

The latest assays came from three additional drill holes testing deeper sections of the Bald Hill Main Zone, with the standout result coming from drillhole BH-26-10. That hole returned two broad mineralized zones, including 13.85 meters grading 0.26% antimony and 14.15 meters grading 1.37% antimony, with high-grade intervals including 26.9% and 6.9% antimony within stibnite-bearing core.

For investors unfamiliar with antimony geology, those numbers matter because most reported antimony deposits operate in the low single-digit percentage range. Bald Hill's Main Zone has historically shown average widths of 4 to 5 meters grading between 3% and 4% antimony, which management says already places it among the highest-grade known antimony deposits in North America.

The new drilling is also extending the story deeper. The average depth of the latest drilling exceeded 250 meters, with the deepest mineralized intersection reaching 495 meters below surface, suggesting the system remains open at depth.

Antimony Resources is focused exclusively on antimony exploration and development, with Bald Hill representing its flagship asset. A March 2026 NI 43-101 technical report outlined a conceptual exploration target of approximately 2.7 million tonnes grading between 3% and 4% antimony, though the company cautioned that additional exploration work is required before any formal mineral resource can be established.

Chief Executive Officer James Atkinson said the latest results continue reinforcing the high-grade nature of the winter drill campaign, particularly given that some of the strongest intersections are being encountered at significant depth.

Beyond the current drilling, the company said new soil sampling has identified additional target zones roughly three kilometers south of the Main Zone on the recently acquired Second Run Claim, potentially expanding the broader exploration footprint.

Shares of ATMY are ahead 17.3% to C$0.95 in Wednesday morning trading, while shares of ATMYF are up 8.3% to $0.6606.
