Radar Met Test Clears 97.4% Vanadium Recovery, Opens Pilot Path for Labrador Ti-V-Fe By: Dylan Sikes - AllPennyStocks.com News

Metallurgical scoping that proves a leach path can pull vanadium, titanium, and iron from the same oxide feed is how early-stage critical-minerals projects try to move from grade tables to process optionality. When Stage 1 recoveries clear a gate into bench optimization and a stated pilot path, the market reads de-risking of the flowsheet, not just another assay.

Shares of SAGA Metals Corp. (TSX-Venture: SAGA) (OTCQB: SAGMF) advanced Thursday after announcing completion of an independent Stage 1 metallurgical validation program on samples from its 100%-owned Radar Critical Minerals Project near Cartwright, Labrador.

Top recoveries in two-stage RCL testing included vanadium recoveries of up to 97.4%, titanium recoveries of up to 90.8%, and iron recoveries of up to 91.5%. Ilmenite concentrate delivered the strongest titanium extraction at 90.8%, while vanadium extraction exceeded 94% in every test and iron stayed above 86% across three representative feeds (ROM massive oxide, VTM/magnetite concentrate, and ilmenite concentrate). The program met Stage 1 objectives and supports a Gate 1 decision to advance into Stage 2 Detailed Bench Optimization.

Importantly, management frames RCL as a route to high-purity downstream TiO2, V2O5, and Fe2O3 products rather than only mid-stream concentrates, with Radar less than 20km from a deep-water port at Cartwright. Stage 2 is expected to optimize leach chemistry, reagent regeneration, solid-liquid separation, impurity management, and downstream metal recovery ahead of potential pilot and demonstration plant work. For reference, Radar covers about 24,175 ha enclosing the Dykes River Intrusive Complex, the current drill program has completed more than 80 holes, and is expected to wrap within the next couple of weeks. A maiden MRE is targeted for Q4 2026 and a PEA for Q1 2027.

Next catalysts are Stage 2 optimization results, any pilot-plant decision, wrap-up of the resource drill program, and the Q4 2026 maiden resource.

Shares of SAGA / SAGMF are up 7.3% and 1.5% to C$0.44 and US$0.30 today, respectively.
