LiveWire Given Boost by Calif. Cultivation License

It’s another exciting tale from the cannabis field, this time originating out of Anaheim, California.LiveWire Ergogenics, Inc. (OTC:LVVV) told investors that its GHC Ventures subsidiary was awarded a Cultivation License from CalCannabis, a division of the California Department of Food and Agriculture to begin production in its high-tech Nursery Pod facility in Coachella, California. LiveWire zeroes in on the acquisition, licensing and management of special-purpose real estate properties and the development of compliant turnkey production facilities for licensed cannabis-based operations.

CEO Bill Hodson was crowing, "We had to jump through many hoops to get this done, but this is a great way to kick off the new year for the company and our shareholders. As it was our plan when we designed, built and constructed our self-contained high-tech Pods, we are now able to commence with production immediately, and based on the increasing market demand in California, we are planning to significantly expand our operation in Coachella."

The new license gives LiveWire a major role in the This cultivation license positions LiveWire in a critical role in the legal cultivation of commercial cannabis goods in the union’s most populous state, with added ammo from the statewide Cannabis Distribution License it has recently been granted.

Shares in LiveWire livened up 21-100ths of a cent, or 7%, to 3.2 cents, on volume topping 3.8 million shares.
