Insider Watch: 3 CEOs Betting Millions on Their Own Stocks

Intel INTC CEO Lip-Bu Tan recently made a big splash, purchasing nearly $10 million worth of shares as part of the chipmaker’s recent stock offering. While this wasn’t a traditional open-market insider purchase, it still reflects a voluntary investment of the CEO’s own capital, signaling a strong vote of confidence as the company continues to execute a major turnaround.

Intel Benefits From AI-Driven Demand

Intel recently reported revenues of $16.1 billion, growing by a rock-solid 25% YoY and reflecting the highest growth rate we’ve seen from the company in more than a decade.

Importantly, its Data Center and AI business unit saw revenue surge nearly 60% YoY to $6.3 billion, with Intel Foundry also seeing 31% YoY revenue growth to $5.8 billion. These results show Intel benefiting from the AI infrastructure boom on multiple fronts, including surging demand for its data-center CPUs and growing activity within its manufacturing business.

The company’s earnings picture has strengthened in a big way over recent months, with EPS revisions remaining on a bullish trajectory.
