Target Expansion and Geophysics Survey Trigger 18% Surge for Norwegian Base-Metal Project

In historic European base-metal districts, consolidating fragmented surface showings along a single continuous trend is often the catalyst that triggers an initial market re-rating. When an explorer combines strategic license expansion across an underexplored volcanic belt with targeted, deep-looking geophysics, it moves a project from isolated legacy workings into a unified, drill-ready campaign.

Teako Minerals Corp. (CSE: TMIN) advanced Tuesday after starting its 2026 field program at the Tynset copper-zinc-silver project in Innlandet County, central Norway. The company added four exploration licences over Nonsvola and Vingelen, and hired Geovisor Oy to run an induced-polarization survey at Storbekken. Maiden diamond drilling is scheduled for Q4 2026 to Q1 2027.

The acquisitions consolidate Teako’s 100%-owned hold over 14 claims totaling 121 km² across a prospective 29 km bimodal volcanic belt. Storbekken anchors the southwest end of the trend with a 5 km soil anomaly and a 1.8 km surface mineralized footprint. Up-trend, historical NGU sampling at Nonsvola returned rock chips up to 2.60% copper, 4.26% zinc, and 0.49 g/t gold, while Vingelen features historic rock chips up to 5.20% copper and over 9.99% zinc adjacent to a historic mine that produced 30,000 tonnes at 1.30% copper. The upcoming IP survey will test depths from 200m to 350m at Storbekken, tying subsurface resistivity and chargeability responses directly to active surface geological mapping.

Next key catalysts include completion of the October IP geophysics program, surface field sampling results, and maiden drill testing between Q4 2026 and Q1 2027.

Shares of TMIN are up 18.2% to C$0.065.
