Hinge Health HNGE stock has surged nearly 90% year to date, significantly outperforming the industry’s 1.7% gain and the S&P 500’s 12.6% rise. The sharp rally reflects growing investor confidence in the company’s strong growth trajectory, improving profitability and expanding digital healthcare platform.
Hinge Health’s second-quarter performance reinforced this momentum, with revenues jumping 53% year over year to $213 million. The company also raised its 2026 revenue guidance to $856-$860 million. Meanwhile, the launch of Migraine Care and planned expansion into gastrointestinal care are broadening its addressable market and could provide new growth avenues.
What Is Fueling HNGE’s Growth?
Durable Member Yield Is Driving Revenue Momentum: Hinge Health’s improving member yield has emerged as a key growth driver in 2026. In the second quarter, stronger yields helped push calculated billings to $862 million, up 52% year over year, while revenues jumped 53% to $213 million.
Management raised its full-year yield expectation to approximately 4.45%, citing targeted enrollment campaigns, member referrals and renewals. Faster member adoption among new clients and stronger engagement among legacy clients are also supporting the trend. These initiatives provide a durable foundation for continued revenue growth.
AI and Automation Are Expanding Operating Leverage: Hinge Health is using AI and automation to scale care delivery while controlling costs. Gross margin expanded more than 400 basis points year over year to 87% in the second quarter. Operating margin also increased 1,000 basis points to 29%.
The company is serving more members without proportional increases in care delivery costs, supported by greater care team efficiency and AI-driven workflows. Management expects 2026 operating income of $236-$244 million, up from its previous guidance of $217-$227 million.
Migraine Care Broadens HNGE’s Growth Opportunity: Hinge Health’s expansion beyond musculoskeletal care is creating another growth avenue. The Migraine Care Program had more than 450 clients covering more than 5 million lives by the second quarter, following its launch earlier in 2026. The offering combines AI-powered tracking, exercise therapy, care-team support and the Enso neuromodulation device.
Management expects only a modest revenue contribution in 2026, with a more meaningful impact beginning in 2027. The rapid client adoption highlights the ability of Hinge Health to leverage its existing platform and distribution network across new conditions.
GI Expansion Adds a New Growth Engine: Hinge Health is also expanding into gastrointestinal care through its planned $105 million acquisition of Cylinder Health. The deal adds nearly 100 clients covering 2 million lives and established relationships with major health plans and PBMs.
Hinge Health expects Cylinder to contribute $7-$8 million of revenues during the remaining months of 2026, with a much larger opportunity from 2027 onward. GI is a natural extension of the company’s multi-product strategy, as it can leverage the same technology, distribution channels and commercial relationships.

Risks and Challenges
HNGE’s rapid expansion also brings execution risks. The company is entering multiple new care categories while continuing to scale its core MSK business. The success of Migraine Care and the planned integration of Cylinder Health will depend on effective product development, client adoption and execution.
Member yield is also becoming increasingly important to the growth outlook. Any moderation in enrolment, engagement or renewals could weigh on billings and revenue. In addition, HNGE operates in a competitive digital healthcare market, where maintaining its strong win rates and client relationships will remain critical.
Conclusion
HNGE’s strong 2026 performance reflects a business that is scaling rapidly while becoming increasingly profitable. Robust revenue and billings growth, improving member yields, AI-driven efficiency and strong free cash flow point to a business model gaining operating leverage. At the same time, Migraine Care and the entry into GI are giving HNGE additional avenues to expand beyond its core MSK market. The company’s raised 2026 outlook and strong commercial pipeline further support the growth story.
However, execution across new products and the ability to sustain member engagement will remain key. With a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), investors should weigh HNGE’s attractive growth prospects against the execution risks that come with its rapid expansion.
