Micro-Cap Surges After Striking Major AI Data Center Deal in Spain

Despite recent volatility in AI-related valuations, there’s broad agreement that AI adoption is still in its early stages, and that the AI bull market remains firmly intact. Today, one micro-cap company made a noteworthy move in the AI sector, and investors are responding with a strong jump in its share price.

EdgeMode (OTCID: EDGM) has signed a definitive agreement with Blackberry AIF (BAIF) to acquire and develop five major data center sites across Spain. The assets will be placed into a new SPV, with EdgeMode holding a 75% stake and BAIF retaining 25%. EdgeMode will oversee the financing and push each location through the Ready-to-Build phase. Altogether, the portfolio totals more than 1.5GW of planned Tier 3 capacity, positioning it among the largest AI-centric data center development programs currently underway in Europe.

All sites are being advanced to RTB status and once completed, could reach valuations of roughly $1 million per megawatt, driven by strong demand from hyperscale operators and AI compute providers throughout the region.

Shares of EDGM are currently up 28.21% at $0.025 in early-afternoon trading.
