Junior Miner Strikes Gold Again With Promising Drill Results in Sweden By: Dylan Sikes – AllPennyStocks.com News

Gold has remained range-bound following its sharp rally in the first quarter of 2025, with investors closely watching for a potential breakout above the all-time high near $3,500 USD per ounce. Given the long-term upward trend, a move through this key level appears increasingly likely. As is often the case, the fortunes of many gold miners mirror bullion’s price action—and one miner in particular drew attention this morning with the release of strong drill results.

First Nordic Metals Corp. (TSX-Venture: FNM) (OTCQB: FNMCF) has released encouraging results from its ongoing 2025 diamond drill program at the Aida target, part of its 100%-owned Paubäcken project in northern Sweden. Assays from 14 of 39 drill holes reported so far include standout intercepts such as 1.94 g/t gold over 21.5 meters, 5.45 g/t gold over 4.6 meters, and 1.17 g/t gold over 17.5 meters. Notably, gold mineralization has now been traced along more than 2.1 kilometers of strike, a major step up from the previously defined 0.5 kilometers, with the system remaining open in all directions.

The company also reported the discovery of several new gold-bearing zones, including the blind-to-surface Pharao Zone and the Northern Mafic Zone. Gold mineralization was encountered in 12 of the 14 drill holes released so far, with visible gold present in five of them, further supporting the potential scale of the system. With these promising results in hand, First Nordic is already preparing a follow-up drilling campaign slated for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Taj Singh, CEO of FNM provided some color to the results: "We are encouraged by this first batch of results, with notable grade-width combinations seen in many of the gold intercepts. The identification of multiple parallel mineralized zones adjacent to the Central Zone (original discovery) is particularly compelling; not only does it build on cumulative strike length, but any future development could potentially be shared across the zones. The area around the Central Zone remains the only part of Aida with meaningful drill density; significant potential exists to both the north and south, and even with wide-spaced step-outs of up to 500 m apart, we intercepted gold mineralization in every hole along the main corridor. With assays pending from 25 additional holes, we are only beginning to outline the scale of this system."

Shares of FNM are up 9.56% at $0.3725 while U.S. listed shares (FNMCF) are up 12.18% at $0.273 in late-morning trading.
