Junior Miner Strikes High-Grade Gold in First 2025 Drill Hole, Shares Rally On News By: Dylan Sikes – AllPennyStocks.com News

Gold miners’ shares are soaring as the precious metal surges to record highs. The rally is being fueled by a mix of factors—rising debt concerns, inflation hedging, and gold’s appeal as a geopolitical safe haven. Against this backdrop, one micro-cap miner captured attention with a bold blind drill hole that struck high-grade gold. Investors reacted enthusiastically, propelling the company’s stock to fresh 52-week highs.

As mentioned, shares of Tectonic Metals Inc. (TSX-Venture: TECT) (OTCQB: TETOF) are on the move higher as the miner reported strong initial drill results from its 2025 Phase One program at the Alpha Bowl target, part of its flagship Flat Gold Project in southwestern Alaska. The project covers 99,000 acres and is recognized as a major reduced intrusion-related gold system (RIRGS) district in North America, hosting multiple large-scale gold targets. Alpha Bowl, a 1.5 km by 1.0 km blind target, is being systematically tested for the first time this year. Notably, it sits near one of Alaska’s most productive placer gold creeks, which has produced more than 650,000 ounces historically, and is directly tied to the larger Chicken Mountain intrusion target, where exploration suggests potential for a sizeable open-pit, heap-leach mining operation.

The company’s first 2025 reverse circulation (RC) drill hole, CMR25-035, returned impressive gold mineralization over significant widths. Results included 2.23 g/t Au across 41.15 metres, with a higher-grade section of 4.00 g/t Au over 21.34 metres, and a standout intercept of 13.25 g/t Au across 4.57 metres. Additionally, the hole encountered another zone near surface, yielding 0.58 g/t Au over 45.72 metres. These results confirm the high-grade gold potential of Alpha Bowl and reinforce Flat’s position as a promising district-scale gold project in Alaska.

Commenting on the drill results, Tony Reda, Co-Founder, President & CEO of Tectonic Metals: "Sometimes the biggest opportunities reveal themselves where you least expect them. Alpha Bowl is a blind target and yet in only a few drillholes we've been able to intersect high-grade gold mineralization. Hole CMR25-035 was drilled to test the edge of the Alpha Bowl system, but instead it delivered over 40 metres of 2.23 g/t gold, including 21 metres of 4.00 g/t and a peak of 13.25 g/t over 4.57 metres. These initial results tells us three things: first, we have not defined the eastern edge of this system; secondly, we are only beginning to tap into its true potential; third, high-grade gold is present and possibly at scale. With assays pending from 47 additional holes from Phase One, and Phase Two drilling underway, we are entering an even more exciting period of discovery and growth. Shareholders can look forward to a steady cadence of results as we advance what we believe will be a pivotal year for the Flat Gold Project."

Shares of TECT are up 7.44% at $1.30 while U.S. listed shares (TETOF) climb 6.43% to $0.9366 in late-morning trading.
